The portals at spawn link to the new Nether hub. We’ve recently built rails to some far-off biomes – a mesa and a jungle – so we can exploit those resources…
Very nearby (at 0 x -31) is the new Wither killing room, to safely and quickly dispatch those troublesome buggers…
And directly below the new Nether hub, in what was the original Nether network before we moved spawn to 0 x 0, is an entrance to a fortress where you can collect the wither skeleton skulls you’ll need to build the Wither… among other things…
Also in the basement network is a portal that leads to an End portal in a Stronghold.
Next we’ll be slaying that pesky Ender Dragon! 🙂
